Vasundharaa Portal makes it possible to browse and compare full resolution images from all the data collections we provide. You simply go to your area of interest, select your desired time range and cloud coverage, and inspect the resulting data in the browser. Try out different visualisations or make your own, download high resolution images and create timelapses.

Satellite imagery in Vasundharaa Portal can be visualized based on the user’s desired configuration. There are already several visualizations with legends and descriptions prepared for you, such as true color, false color, NDVI, EVI, etc.

Satellite imagery in Vasundharaa Portal can be visualized based on the user’s desired configuration. There are already several visualizations with legends and descriptions prepared for you, such as true color, false color, NDVI, EVI, etc.
By choosing Advanced Parameters it is possible to choose any combination of bands and make a composite by simply selecting the bands into the RGB channels. In the image above, NDVI has been visualised using NIR and RED bands of Sentinel-2. The indices tool makes it possible to quickly create remote sensing indices and control the visualisation, by selecting bands into the equation. If you would like to compare satellite imagery of an area on different dates or from different data collections, you can do that by adding and comparing them using split sliders.
The comparison above displays the flood situation of Libya in Sep-2023 after and before the disaster. Vasundharaa portal supports various data collections, which include freely available and commercial collections, as well as an option to bring your data. All the collections (including commercial ones) are listed on our Menu bar, where you can find all the information about them.
