GIS Developer

Job Description: 
A GIS Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining software applications that enable the collection, analysis, and visualization of geographic and spatial data. They play a crucial role in developing GIS tools, applications, and databases to support various projects and decision-making processes.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Knowledge of spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) for web mapping.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
